Official Bio

Jessi Bixler (JESS-ee BICKS-ler) is an entrepreneur, marketing strategist, and the author of The Story We Share (Next Thing Press, 2025). For the last decade, she has run Bixler Consulting, a fractional CMO and marketing strategy firm serving founders and growing companies. Her career has been spent helping leaders tell the truth about complicated things in ways people can actually hear.

Her memoir traces the ripple effects of sexual assault through a marriage, a family, and the institutional systems that respond to harm. Alongside Jessi’s voice, the book includes written perspectives from her husband, her brother, her therapist, her attorney, and law enforcement, creating a layered portrait of how trauma travels through whole systems, not just individuals.

Jessi served on the Board of Directors and as Board Chair for MOCSA (Metropolitan Organization Countering Sexual Assault). Her keynotes focus on what people carry and how it shapes leadership, culture, and the way people move forward without clear answers. She lives in the Kansas City, Missouri area.
