Hi, I’m Jessi
I'm an author, speaker, and marketing strategist. I wrote The Story We Share (Next Thing Press, November 2025) because life after trauma is messy and ordinary and somehow still full of hope. The book tells my side, and includes pages written by the people who lived the aftermath alongside me: my husband Chad, my family, my friends, the SANE nurse who treated me, the attorneys who represented our family, and law enforcement professionals who tried.
I speak to leaders, professional groups, and communities on what we carry, how to show up for each other when life gets hard, and what it takes to lead through the long, unglamorous middle of healing.
By day, I'm the founder of Bixler Consulting LLC, a fractional marketing practice I've run for nine years. I bring 20+ years of marketing experience across both agency and client sides. I serve as a fractional CMO for professional service firms and lead digital marketing (websites and paid media) for small and startup businesses. I served on the Board of Directors and as Board Chair for MOCSA (Metropolitan Organization Countering Sexual Assault).
At home, I'm married to Chad and mom to two teenagers. We live in the Kansas City area. Give me ocean sounds any day, but real life looks like bleachers, practice schedules, and the occasional stolen moment with wine and charcuterie. My faith guides me. I want my words and work to reflect honesty, kindness, and courage.
